It was years ago I came across the twitter page showing designs and I thought, this is so simple yet beautifully executed. I want to support black designers. From then on I followed the journey till launch but everything was always sold out. One day I’m on the nyc train and I see this woman with this hat and i immediately know it’s a SonOfJames. Right then I knew I just had to get a hat, any hat. I love how it created a connection with a stranger. I love how you can look at wearable Art and just know who the designer is. I’m in love with my hat. The brand. The products. I wish this business much continued success.
